TO)pot Festival: Walking-with Silences
23–27 September 2026
Cukrarna and public spaces
Participating organisations: Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television, BAZA, Ljubljana Youth Centre, CENSE Central European Network for Sonic Ecologies, Cukrarna Gallery, UHO Society (New Music Forum), KUD NUM, Museum and Galleries of Ljubljana, City of Women, Radio Slovenia 3 – Ars Programme, Skladišče 172, ŠKUC, Science and Research Centre Koper.
The sixth edition of the Festival of Radical Sound Walks brings together artists, theorists, and walkers in a shared act of listening to spaces and to the voices of others. The festival subtitle, Walking-with Silences, offers an insight into the potential of walking as a mode of listening — a practice that deepens our understanding of different registers of silence: the silence of a place, the silence of society, and the listening of art. In addition to selected sound walks and a sound exhibition, the festival programme includes two concert evenings and a series of lectures. The TO)pot festival is a space of encounter, interweaving, and connection between diverse artistic practices, as well as social and scientific concerns.
