Steklenik GalleryThe Sound Walk workshop encourages children to listen attentively while moving through urban and natural environments. Participants are introduced to soundwalk practice and to practical aspects of echolocation used by certain animals and people.
Using binaural microphones and headphones, children perform tasks in pairs and small groups, test different microphone positions, and compare what they hear. The workshop also includes short improvised sonic actions in diverse acoustic spaces.
