Chronolith / Time in Stone, Science in Art

Publication

The publication was developed within the framework of the Kronolit project and brings together two texts that engage with geological time, the materiality of stone, and the human position within the Earth’s long temporal scales. It emerges from questions of listening to stone and to processes that exceed human perception.

The texts are situated within a broader ecological and philosophical context, where scientific knowledge, artistic practices, and sonic thinking intersect in the search for alternative ways of understanding the world. The publication opens reflections on transience, reciprocity, and ethics of coexistence with more-than-human entities.
