4’33’’ in Bežigrad

The text was developed in relation to the sound walk Zeleni atrij mesta and stems from reflections on the architectural and cultural heritage of Ljubljana. It focuses on the area of the Central Stadium in Bežigrad, designed by architect Jože Plečnik and closed to the public since 2008.

The author reflects on a degraded site that, despite its historical and symbolic significance, continues to decay and lose its role in the city’s public life. Through sound, walking, and historical layering, the text opens questions of listening to space, heritage preservation, and the relationship between past and present.
