GIBALKA: Movement Awareness Workshop for Older Women Working in Culture
Location: Studio Cepetka, Cankarjeva 5, Ljubljana
Schedule: Mondays from 18.00 to 19.30
Registration and information: +386 40 289 345
GIBALKA is a movement and dance practice for older women working in culture, dedicated to developing bodily and movement awareness. Through a specific form of physical practice incorporating individualised and therapeutic elements, participants develop sensitivity to their kinaesthetic and acoustic experiences, explore movement, and deepen their awareness of the body and inner experience.
GIBALKA explores how movement and dance practices can be adapted to changing physical needs and maintained as a creative practice later in life. The programme is open to different levels of previous experience and physical ability, bringing together women working across a variety of artistic and cultural fields.
