Archive of recorded lectures from the CENSE symposium

News

Recordings of the lectures from the CENSE symposium are now available!

Visit our SoundCloud and explore the archive of lectures on the significance of acoustic ecology and walking, presented as part of this year’s TO)pot festival and the CENSE symposium in Ljubljana.

In a time marked by hyperproduction, walking can offer an alternative, a pause, quietness and space for reflection. Listening to places, both those we inhabit here and now and those undergoing turbulent transformations, becomes a tool for establishing a much-needed distance. This distance is not a withdrawal, but in an accelerated present enables attentive, sensitive and critical listening.
