Cona Institute is committed to the compliant, ethical, and responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in accordance with Slovenian and European legislation. As a non-profit cultural organisation undergoing digital transition, we use AI tools thoughtfully and always under human supervision. Our key principles regarding the use of AI are:
Supportive role of AI in administration and communication: We use AI solely as a tool to assist with administrative and communication tasks (e.g. drafting texts, organizing content, searching for information).
No AI in creative processes or decision-making: We do not use AI for artistic creation, automated decisionmaking, or the processing of personal data. All creative content and important decisions remain within the domain of human judgment.
Human oversight and review: All use of AI is supervised by members of the Cona team. Final content and decisions are always the result of editorial or professional human review, ensuring quality and ethical standards.
Responsibility of the Cona team: Full content and legal responsibility for published materials rests with the Cona team. Even when AI is used to prepare drafts, we take full responsibility for verifying facts, accuracy, and appropriateness of the final content.
Ethical and transparent use: We are committed to the ethical, responsible, and transparent use of digital tools. Where relevant, we will inform our audiences and partners about the use of AI in content development, fostering trust in new technologies.
Active adaptation: We will regularly review and, if needed, update this AI policy in line with new technical insights and legal developments at both national and European levels.
This policy is part of our broader commitment to the ethical use of technology in support of creativity. We see technology as a tool—not a substitute—for human knowledge, intuition, and artistic vision.

These Terms and Conditions set out the rules governing the purchase, reservation, cancellation, rescheduling, and refund of tickets for events organised by Zavod Cona, hereinafter referred to as the organiser.
By purchasing a ticket or making a reservation, the visitor confirms that they are familiar with and accept these Terms and Conditions.
1. Ticket purchases
Tickets for events are available through the Mojekarte.si system, unless stated otherwise for an individual event.
The purchase of an individual ticket is final. Once the purchase has been completed, refunds or exchanges are not possible for personal reasons on the part of the buyer, such as illness, change of plans, lateness, absence, or accidental purchase.
Tickets may be transferred to another person, unless otherwise specified for an individual event.
2. Season tickets and festival tickets
The purchase of a season ticket or festival ticket is final.
Refunds are not available for season tickets or festival tickets, unless the organiser cancels the entire season programme or the entire festival.
This also applies if the buyer is unable to attend an individual event included in the programme, if the buyer’s personal schedule changes, or if the buyer does not use all events covered by such a ticket.
3. Reservations
If the organiser allows reservations without purchase for a particular event, the reservation conditions will be published with that event.
The organiser is responsible for questions relating to reservations managed by the organiser.
4. Event cancellation
If the organiser cancels an event, the buyer is entitled to a refund of the purchase price of the ticket.
If the organiser cancels the entire season programme or the entire festival, the buyer is entitled to a refund of the purchase price of the season ticket or festival ticket.
In the event of cancellation, only the ticket price will be refunded. Other costs, such as transport, accommodation, parking, or any other related expenses, will not be reimbursed.
The refund request must be submitted no later than 7 days after the cancellation announcement, in accordance with the procedure of the ticketing system through which the ticket was purchased.
5. Event rescheduling
If an event is rescheduled, the purchased ticket will generally remain valid for the new date, unless the organiser states otherwise when announcing the change.
If the new date does not suit the buyer, a refund is not possible, unless the organiser explicitly provides otherwise.
The same applies to events within a season programme or festival: a change to the date of an individual event is not grounds for a refund of a season ticket or festival ticket.
6. Outdoor events and weather conditions
Outdoor events will generally take place even in light rain or under ordinary weather changes, provided these do not significantly affect the safety or execution of the event.
The organiser reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event due to weather conditions or other justified circumstances.
In the event of cancellation or rescheduling due to weather, the same conditions apply as for other cancellations or reschedulings.
7. Programme changes
The organiser reserves the right to make minor changes to the programme, performers, running order, starting time, or event location if such changes result from organisational, technical, weather-related, or other justified reasons.
Minor changes do not constitute grounds for a refund, provided the event takes place and its content is not substantially altered.
A change to an individual part of the programme does not constitute grounds for a refund of a season ticket or festival ticket.
8. Event interruption
If an event is interrupted after it has begun due to force majeure or other circumstances beyond the organiser’s control, a refund is not possible if the event is deemed to have taken place.
An event is deemed to have taken place if its essential or substantial part has been carried out.
9. Information for visitors
The organiser publishes all important information regarding the event, including any cancellation, rescheduling, or change, on its website and, where possible, also sends such information by email to buyers or registered visitors.
The buyer is responsible for checking the latest information regarding the event before attending.
10. Contact
For content-related questions concerning the event, programme, location, accessibility, and reservations, please contact the organiser at: info@cona.si.
For technical questions regarding ticket purchase, payment, ticket delivery, and refunds through the ticketing system, please contact the provider of the ticketing system or the point of sale where the ticket was purchased at: info@mojekarte.si.
11. Final provision
These Terms and Conditions apply to all events organised by the organiser, unless explicitly stated otherwise for an individual event.
Effective date: 1 April 2026
