Musical cycle ZVO.ČI.TI so.und.ing DUO is a project with several years of history, in which Cona Institute joins together and presents performers from different experimental musical genres and establishes a platform that provides permanent conditions for international collaborations and exchanges of artists and concert presentations of their new sound works.
With attempts of redefining the methods of music production, composition, and improvisations we want to put special emphasis in this year on the meaning of audiovisual means of performance and establish the possibilities for articulation and sensibilisation of experiences of listening, perceptions of mutual relations and co-habitations, hybrid, acoustic sounds and spatial installations. We will be able to listen to improvised sound structures in which repetitive mechanical and algorithmic elements interchange, such as soundscape recordings and sounds of prepared instruments, noise drone music and fusion of contemporary composed with electronic music.

Maja Osojnik (SI/AT) As a singer, composer, improvising electroacoustic musician, sound artist, producer, mostly using voice, paetzold bass recorders, own field recordings, DJ-CD, tapes and other lo-fi electronic devices, toys, trash and found objects.
In her Compositions she combines love for simple songs, experimental electro-acoustic, abstract music, early and contemporary classical music as well as elements and forms of noise and rock. The real, the surreal, the fragility, in which both the destructive, abysmal, dark phantasm, but also the beauty, the elegance, the strength are depicting certainty, manifest another engine that defines Maja’s musical creation.
She composes music for dance, theater, film, radio plays, sound instalations and various ensembles and orchestras and writes lyrics, that she performs with her bands. For her live performances and sampling she uses her own built sound libraries.
Anthony Pateras (Au)is a composer, pianist and electronic musician active since the late 1990s. His current work focuses on electro-acoustic orchestration, temporal hallucination and sound phenomena.
Pateras finished his Bachelor of Music at LaTrobe where he studied composition with Neil Kelly and John McCaughey. At Monash with Thomas Reiner, he was awarded a Masters and PhD, which both researched composition, free improvisation and electro-acoustic music in relation to timbre and form.
He has released over 40 albums including collaborations with Mike Patton, Chris Abrahams and Valerio Tricoli, guested on records by Oren Ambarchi, Sunn O))) and Fennesz, as well as working in film with director Pia Borg, producer François Tetaz and literary critic Sylvère Lotringer. Aside from solo concerts, Pateras currently performs with eRikm, Jérôme Noetinger and North of North.
