another year of the TO)pot festival and new soundwalks!
The year 2023 is slowly echoing out and at the next period Conain we have created a diverse range of live sound events, lectures and workshops in collaboration with artists, scientists and theorists: Augenmas and beepblip, Gaja Mežnarić Osole, Boštjan Perovšek, Karmen Ponikvar and Nika van Berkel, OR poiesis, Irena Pivka, Katarina Radaljac, Eduardo Raon, Urška Savič, Bojana Šaljič Podešva, Tea Vidmar, Dušan Zidar, Brane Zorman, Elena Biserna, Colin Black, Juan José López Díez, Patrick K.-H., Elizbieta Sikora, Jacek Smolicki, Daniel Teruggi, Mauricio Valdes and others.
We look forward to further developing a deep sensitivity to the field of bioacoustics, sound ecology and exploring locational media and sound art. In 2024, we have prepared research and art projects that through walking, listening to nature, space and landscape include the inhabitants of the ecosystem.
Among others, we will see you in 2024 at:
An acousmatic music cycle with live sound events and listening rooms of renowned Slovenian and international sound artists. Presentations of the AR sound walk VRToglavi VRT, whose speculative story highlights the difficult relationship between humans and plants. Zoomusicological sound events, where we will listen to interspecies sound creation as part of the International Dawn Listening Day. A biotremological sound artwork by an artist and a scientist that thematizes the appearance and communication of insects. The TO)pot festival of radical soundwalks brings together artists, theoreticians and the curious public, who experience walking and listening as a spatial realization of place and body. As part of the festival, we will also present several new soundwalks. The production of a new artwork, Sound Archaeology, which highlights the importance of the inner voice in connection with artificial intelligence.

In 2024, we look forward to cooperating with our scientific and artistic partners and participating institutions: Arboretum Volčji Potok, DOPPS, društvo Trajna, Cukrarna, Kino Šiška, Krajinski park Goričko, Notranjski regijski park, NIB, Apollonia, Out Of The Box Arc Company, Teatri ODA. The program is co-financed by: MOL, Oddelek za kulturo, MJU RS, MK RS, Creative Europe programme.
